Some people ask me, “Was I always a teacher?”  The answer is no, I’ve got over ten years of non-teaching work experience as well. The biggest chunk of that non-teaching work experience was as Project Manager/Administrative Officer at LifeHouse Church between 2013 and 2018.  I also worked in Corporate Recruiting in Cape Town and that was an awesome adrenaline rush of a job!

My husband and I also incorporated a company in Canada in November 2016. He develops the software and I do the business administration tasks. This is our second company as we had our own business for 6 years in South Africa as well. All of this ‘paid’ work aside….the hardest job I’ve ever had was my 5 years as a stay-at-home mom.
