Teaching

I LOVE teaching! I started teaching straight after graduating from Teachers’ College at Western and I taught a wide variety of grades and subjects for 12 years straight. Then in 2007 I jumped into the business world and have been jumping back and forth between education and private industry since!

Be sure to watch this Prezi to get a quick overview of my 16 years in education which spans 4 countries. You can also access it by clicking the picture above.

Some of my teaching highlights include:

  • Developing and implementing computer curriculum for 3 international schools
  • Holding a Vice-Principal Post (unofficially for 6 months then officially for 1 year)
  • Participating in Around the World in 24 Hours Video-Conferencing Project (2003 – rare at the time!)
  • Implementing a Computer Lab Monitor Program (service hours)
  • Teaching IB Diploma Business & Management

Here are a few articles from school newsletters and local media sites about my classes.
